The Platecoil gas heat exchanger is connected to the external gas pipeline through the Gas Inlet and Gas Outlet. The gas in the pipeline enters the Platecoil gas cooler through the Gas Inlet, flows evenly into the inter-plate channel of the Plate Bank, exchanges heat with the HTM inside the Platecoil® when flowing through the Platecoil®, and then flows into the rear pipeline from the Gas Outlet.
The HTM Inlet and HTM Outlet of the Plate Bank are connected to the external HTM pipeline. The HTM enters into the inlet manifold, then flows into each Platecoil® uniformly after distribution. Inside the Platecoil® HTM is forced turbulence, then exchanges heat efficiently with the gases outside the Platecoil®, and then flows into the external pipeline through the outlet manifold and the HTM outlet.
Under gas heating conditions, hot water, steam, thermal oil or other heating media can be circulated in the plate.
The Platecoil gas heat exchangers's Platecoil® structure, overall equipment construction and gas flow rate inside the heat exchangers are simulated and calculated using Platecoil's proprietary gas heat transfer software to ensure uniform and consistent cooling of the gas over a sufficient residence time.
